25:00 I find air guard cancelling to be more useful with vanish guard cancel, rather then the regular one. Say for example that you are playing against a Gohan. He forces you to block in the air and then uses legs to staircase you down and use an assist to confirm into pressure. Normally, there's nothing you can do about it, but NOW you can guard cancel vanish to get out (because regular guard cancel would be risky midscreen) It even has utility on snapback situations, since some characters like to use super active moves to make sure you block when you come in. Normally, because of snapback, you'd be locked out of guard cancel, but NOW you can guard cancel vanish, which doesn't require any assist. And being able to do it in the air lets you do it during the opponents special moves, which makes it impossible to punish

Lots of good info here, thanks for explaining a lot of the different approaches to offense. Some comments - try to train yourself out of using the word 'Obviously'. Using the phrases 'it is generally advantageous" or "this is usually a weak option" are more of a mouthful, but also leave room for further follow up, exceptions, or questions later. Or if it is a filler word, just cut it out completely. Also with the close jab/throw situation if you run into someone who is defeating both it is usually the case of an experienced player who knows to use a delayed button press when blocking. It will block a jab and tech a throw if the aggressor is immediately using either option after the 22L, and if the aggressor does nothing, the move comes out.

Yet again, no comments on this vid feels like a crime. Keep it up. Love the content.

Fellow anre player. Anre is cool desighn, and great ante thesis to granblue meta. The bad part about him is that while he excellent at slowing the game down. This only becomes worthwild when he has established a life lead. But life lead means very little in the presence of GBVSR burst damage. Something Anre himself also struggles to do.
